Google continues to work on improving Bard, and here are the new capabilities:
Bard in Additional Languages
The new update allows the use of Bard in over 40 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi, Spanish, and now Hebrew!
Customized and Smarter Responses
Voice Responses: Sometimes it helps to hear the response instead of just reading it, especially when it comes to a story or song where the vocal aspect provides a significant part of the experience. Google Bard allows you to receive voice responses. After providing the prompt, select the sound icon and also receive a vocal response. This capability is available in over 40 languages, including Hebrew.
Easily customize Bardโs responses: You can now easily change the tone and style of Bardโs responses to five different options: simple, long, short, professional, or daily. This capability is currently only available in English and will expand to other languages soon.
New Capabilities to Improve Your Productivity
Four new capabilities of Bard to help you do more efficiently:
Name your conversations and organize them for easy access: To make it easier to return to conversations we started, Google allows editing the names of conversations with Bard. Now when you start a conversation, you will see the option to change names and bring up recent calls in the sidebar.
Export code to additional places: The use of Bard for coding tasks is growing. A new feature allows exporting code directly to Python on Replit, in addition to Google Colab. This feature currently operates in over 40 languages.
Share responses easily: Easily share parts of the conversation with Bard or the entire chat.
Use images in prompts: Include images in your instructions: Whether you want additional information about an image or need a caption for an image, you can now upload images with the prompt, and Bard will analyze the image to assist. This capability is currently active in English, and soon will also be available in new languages.
